558.195 Decoquinate. Specifications: Type A medicated article containing 6 percent decoquinate. Conditions of use: Chickens (broilers) Amount: 27.2 grams Decoquinate per ton of feed and 10 to 50 grams Bacitracin per ton of feed. Indications: For the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. mivati, E. acervulina, E. maxima, and E. brunetti; for increased rate of gain and improved feed efficiency. Limitations: Do not feed to laying chickens; feed continuously as sole ration. Bentonite should not be used in decoquinate feeds. |
