558.175 Clopidol. Specifications: Type A medicated articles: 25 percent clopidol. Conditions of use: Chickens (broilers) Amount: Clopidol 113.5 grams per ton of feed (0.0125 percent) plus zinc bacitracin, 5 to 25 grams per ton of feed. Indications: For increased rate of weight gain and improved feed efficiency; aid in the prevention of coccidiosis caused by E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. maxima, E. brunetti, and E. mivati. Limitations: Feed continuously as sole ration. |

The tolerance for residues of bacitracin from zinc bacitracin or bacitracin methylene disalicylate in uncooked edible tissues of cattle, swine, chickens, turkeys, pheasants, and quail, and in milk and eggs is 0.5 part per million Tolerances for residues of clopidol (3,5-dichloro-2,6-dimethyl-4-pyridinol) in food are: a. In cereal grains, vegetables, and fruits: 0.2 part per million b. In chickens and turkeys: (1) 15 parts per million in uncooked liver and kidney (2) 5 parts per million in uncooked muscle c.
