558.625 Tylosin. Specifications: Tylosin is the antibiotic substance produced by growth of Streptomyces fradiae or the same antibiotic substance produced by any other means. Tylosin present as the phosphate salt, conforms to the appropriate antibiotic standard. Type A medicated article containing 10 grams per pound of tylosin. Conditions of use: Swine Amount: Tylosin, 10-100 grams per ton of feed. Pre-starter or starter: 20 to 100 grams per ton. Grower: 20 to 40 grams per ton. Finisher: 10 to 20 grams per ton. Indications: For increased rate of weight gain and improved feed efficiency. Limitations: As tylosin phosphate. Continuous use. |
